Purpose
In responding to the enthusiasm of overseas talents, and encourage their innovative entrepreneur spirit, CCOTE organizing committee decided to conduct 2017 CCOTE “Intelligent Development of Future” contest for overseas innovative startups. This is to attract and support overseas talents to come to China and start their entrepreneurship and implement their innovation in Guangzhou. We want to channel a wide range of social resources to support innovative startups, by allowing government to play a mentoring role. We will follow the market mechanism, and gathering various of resources, industrialize new innovation, and nurturing high level, high quality professional teams for core innovation capabilities and strategic emerging high growth enterprises.

Qualification of participating projects
Participants: Innovative startup teams or individuals, with advanced technology and promising market potentials, whose core member must have overseas study and work experiences.
All products or services can be either a participant directly involved innovation or patented technology, The participants should be the owner of corresponding patent, with clearly documented intellectual property.
All participating project should meet Guangzhou industrial development focus and trend. For example, AI, VR, new information technology, high-end equipment manufacture, biomedical science, new materials, with newer technology and market competitiveness, as well as better social and economic benefits.

Financial Support
5000 RMB (~760 USD) airfare reimbursement
All local accommodation and transportation.
Opportunities
Great exposure on one of the biggest stage in China, over 100,000 participants to the CCOTE convention in Guangzhou in 2016.
Great networking opportunities with Guangdong Province Government, Guangzhou city Government and many local government organizations.
Great networking opportunities with top tier international and Chinese VC, over 200 VC organizations attended the convention in 2016.
The organizer is planning additional corporate tour, Guangzhou city tour and meetings to show case Guangzhou as well as facilitate connection with local government as well as investments.
Incubator services: Startup coaching, financial supports, Guangzhou GoogolPark financing docking, credits, project support and follow ups services.
